I May Be Too Young
N. Chinn/M. Chapman
Wow! Hey!
You heard about Suzi from Baton Rouge?
You have? Well
let me tell you about her!
Yeh ! Well little Suzi was raised at the Baton Rouge
Suzi was fooled
she was born to lose
She could be seen keeping company wherever she went
With those long haired blue eyed southern gents.

She said I may be too young to fall in love
But I'm still hangin' round
She said I may be too young to fall in love
But I'm still hangin' round.
Just waiting for you
I'm just awaitin' for you
She said I'm waitin' for you
you
I'm just waitin' for you.

Well
you know what those Louisiana nights can do
To a back street girl with southern blues
Fifteen have passed and straight out of school
She was hard to handle
she was easy to fool
They said go go go little Suzi
Too old to scold and too young to choose
Suzi was fooled
born to lose
And that's how they talk about her down in Baton Rouge.

She said I may be too young to fall in love...

The Australian tour "BORN TO ROCK" has been absolutely fantastic,
with sellout shows and an opportunity for Suzi to give the fans a slightly different show.
Suzi had planned to do something different on this tour when she fell and broke her arm
while preparing for the tour.
The doctor told Suzi she would not be going on the tour but managed to defy all odds and perform as intended.
Suzi included a section of the concert to talk with her audience about her life in Rock,
Suzi played piano, bongos and previewed the new song that will be a tribute to Elvis Presley
called "Singing With Angels".
Suzi will record it with Elvis's original backing singers and guitarist
in Nashville next month to be released later in the year.

While on the tour Suzi played me some of the songs that will be on the new album with a working title called "DETROIT CITY USA". The new material is some of the best I have heard Suzi do.
Some of the song titles are, "Ever Was A Reason", "Born Making Noise", "Fifteen Minutes Of Fame",
" Free The Butterfly", " Walk Through The Fire" (Duet with Suzi's daughter Laura) and the fantastic song "Duality". "Duality" is very modern rock, its an amazing track & one of my favourites.
There are other tracks one that will be a duet with Robin Gibb from the Bee Gee's.
